Durham City Model Car Club had created a testing track at their Nissan Sports Club site at Washington for the second round of the 2WD series. Although the day started damp, with heavy rain for a time during round 3 of qualifying, it turned out fine for the finals, with some drivers even getting out the Yellow mini-spikes by the end of the day.

We thank Bill Allison, Steve Dunn, George Stoker, Tony Snee and the rest of the Durham crew for an excellent meeting!

Luke Sanders (centre) was in dominant form, taking TQ in three rounds of qualifying, and going on to win all three legs of the final. Paul Bradby (left) was second, and Adam Skelding (right) finished third. Congratulations too, to Dave Grunhill, who made his first Regional A Final.
