NEXT REGIONAL ACTION IS AT YORK ON THE WEEKEND OF 20/21st JULY WHEN THE THIRD ROUND OF 4WD, AND THE FOURTH ROUND OF THE 2WD SERIES TAKES PLACE. |
||||
It seems like we have been racing outdoors for ages, but this was only the second round of the 4WD Regional Series. The first round was at Batley which was abandoned due to the weather, and the forecast for this meeting was not good, possibly it was this, coupled with the World Cup Final which resulted in a low entry of 39 plus 8 drivers competing in the Non Regional Class. Those who made the journey to Harrogate had a good days racing though, with a chance to score more points than would normally be available. Our thanks to Race Director Dave Stephenson and all the rest of the Harrogate Club for a great meeting. In two weeks time Batley host the fourth round of the BRCA National Series and one week after that York hold the only all weekend Regional meeting this year. Don't forget that while the Euros are on at Tiverton you can enter the Northern Club Championships at Ripon Race Course on the 28th July, the event being supported supported by BRM & Ballistic R/C, so plenty of racing available in July. No pictures of the winners this time, camera battery dumped ! |
